Protective’s New Business and Underwriting teams are fully functional and processing business. Service levels are steady, and we are in continuous contact with our vendor partners. Here are additional updates on Protective’s operations:
- Protective encourages the use of electronic applications, and we’ve streamlined some new business procedures to help you practice social distancing. See ‘Processing Business.’
- Effective immediately, we will temporarily waive the witness signature on delivery requirements for life and annuity policies.
- Our paramedical exam vendors are taking extra precautions, and in some cases, have suspended service in impacted areas. Access each vendor’s website for the latest information in ‘Processing Business.’
- Due to the U.S. Department of State’s unprecedented Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory at a worldwide level, we will postpone coverage on any individual recently returned from international travel for a period of 30 days following his or her return. For additional information, visit ‘Underwriting.’
